With the summer season almost in full swing, many of my recent blog posts have focused on the Jersey Shore and this week is no different! I am so looking forward to hosting a seasonal-inspired cooking class with my friends at Savoring the Shore this Wednesday, June 18 at Langosta Lounge. Drew Araneo of Drewy’s Bayshore Bistro in Keyport along with Jason Crispin of Groumand Cooking School in Point Pleasant Beach will join me for an evening of culinary instruction in support of New Jersey’s ongoing Sandy recovery.
The evening will feature a five-course dinner and cooking demonstrations by each of the chefs. Flying Fish Brewing, NJs largest craft brewing company will take over the taps and wine will also be served. Also on hand will be Cheryl Larkin and Kate Kurelja, co-authors of Savoring the Shore, a cookbook featuring 150+ recipes from celebrity chefs and home cooks!
